"Captain Nancy", a Barbary Ketch, Length 32FT x Beam 10' 4”X Draught 5' solidly built in GRP by Mitchells in 1973.   An excellent long keel heavy displacement yacht of a popular class that has travelled all over the world. Original owners had her for 31 years, now up for sale again, she has 6 berths in 3 cabins, a 42hp Mercedes diesel inboard engine. New 2012 furling genoa, in-mast furling mainsail and mizzen mast and sail. Pressurised hot/cold water system to heads and galley with 75 gallon tank in keel. Wheel steering, chartplotter, GPS, AIS display and other instruments. VHF radio. CQR main anchor and chain with windlass, Danforth kedge with chain and warps. Ashore here

"Triton",  an Achilles 24 . Length 23ft. 9in. x Beam 7ft. 1in. x Draught 3ft. 3in.  Shallow draft fin keel version of this popular class. Built in GRP by Butler Mouldings in the 1970's, recently resprayed hull in dark blue two-pack finish. Excellent sailing qualities from the fractional rig, with roller genoa, mainsail with single line slab reefing, spinnaker and gear. New sheets and running rigging 2011. Accommodation has four berths in one cabin. Galley has two burner stove with grill (new 2011) and sink. Outboard engine 4hp longshaft "Saildrive" Mercury in cockpit well. Completely re-trimmed  with cabin linings and berth cushions replaced in 2011 and much other work besides. Ashore in our yard.

Pandora 22ft “Zena” A well known Van de Stadt design with twin bilge keels and locally built by Rydgeway Marine in 1971. Four berths with galley and heads are below decks and above is a simple rig with alloy spars and stainless steel standing rigging setting a mainsail and furling genoa with a spinnaker and second mainsail included. Fully equipped with compass, depthsounder, lifejackets, foghorn, flares, fenders warps and anchor. Auxiliary engine is a Mariner 4hp "Sailmate" 4-stroke outboard with charging circuit. Just six years old and only lightly used. Comes complete with a 3 year old 8ft GRP dinghy, oars and rowlocks. An excellent first yacht with good sailing performance, ideal for the Deben.

“Deben Redshank” one of the ever-popular Kestrel 22ft class yachts designed for local conditions by Jack Jones. This is a later version, solidly built in GRP with twin iron keels and equipped with a Vire 7hp inboard engine. Simply fitted out below with 4 berths, simple galley and heads. Spruce spars, stainless steel rigging. Mainsail and furling genoa on Rotostay roller foil. Kept ashore under covers in our yard for a number of years and now to be sold for an offer based on:

"Solna" a Cinder 22.  21ft 8in loa x 7ft. beam x 4ft 10in. draught  Traditional style cruising yacht with a long keel, moulded by Tyler Boats in 1970. Fitted with a Volvo MD1 inboard diesel engine with dyna-start, shaft drive and three-blade propeller.  Alloy mast, stainless steel standing rigging.  Accommodation below has four berths in an open plan cabin, two forward, and two quarter berths. Galley with sink and stove. All gear with the boat as the owner no longer sails. Dinghy and four wheel yard trailer included.  Solna is unusual in being a small long keel yacht in GRP rather than wood, has been laid up in the yard for some years and will require some work to re-commission her, but a good project

“Sandpiper” a Prelude 19ft sloop  A good example of the popular Ian Proctor designed bilge keel sloop, nicely built in GRP and fitted out by Rydgeway Marine of Suffolk in the ‘70s. Alloy spars with stainless steel standing rigging and a new headstay with roller reefing fitted in 2011, together with a new mainsail and genoa made by Jeckells in the same year. Comfortably fitted out below with 4 berths, galley with spirit stove, and marine w.c. New seacocks fitted by our yard in 2014.  5hp four stroke auxiliary outboard engine and yard trailer are included, together with echosounder, anchor, warps fenders etc. Ashore in the yard.

"Blenheim Rose", an Atlanta Marine 28.  28ft Loa x 9ft 2in beam x 3ft 10in draught. Based on the popular bilge keel Macwester 27 and solidly built in GRP by Atlanta marine in 1974. 10hp Bukh inboard diesel engine with shaft drive to 3-blade prop. behind the skeg. Sloop rig with alloy spars and stainless steel standing rigging (replaced in 2002). Sailspar furling genoa (also 2002), Mainsail, 3 further jibs, spinnaker. Below are five berths in two cabins with galley and separate heads. Teak faced joinery.  Fully fitted for coastal cruising, her equipment includes depth and speed instruments, VHF radio, autopilot, CQR anchor with chain and warp, fenders and mooring warps etc. A traditional style cruising yacht, well suited to local conditions and ready for the next family to enjoy! "Seadrake", a Nicholson 30. Long keel carvel mahogany on oak, bronze fastened. Sloop masthead rig with alloy spars.12 hp Yanmar inboard diesel engine and gearbox with shaft drive and fixed two-blade prop. Hasler wind vane self-steering. Accommodation comprises 4 berths in two cabins, heads, galley. Gas water heater and Taylor paraffin cabin heater in saloon. Spray hood and dodgers. Instruments: log, echosounder, wind speed/direction, GPS, Navtex and compasses. 240v inverter, 12v batteries x 2. Has her own steel cradle for winter storage. Very well maintained and equipped yacht; has been in the same meticulous ownership since 1988, with regular updating. Ashore here

"PuttPutt" an Orkney Longliner 16ft. A very smart custom built motor launch; based on the well-known Orkney hull. Fitted with a 10hp Nanni twin cylinder inboard diesel engine, electric start, shaft drive. Solid timber and plywood trim, all varnished.  Auxiliary outboard bracket and oars. This boat comes complete with a fitted cover and road trailer.

“Kennebec”, a Foxcub 18.  18ft Loa  x  6ft 4in beam  x 1ft 9in draft . A simple and well mannered day sailing boat with basic accommodation. Solidly moulded in GRP by Copeland boats, c.1978 with bilge keels, she is ideally suited to river and east coast sailing. Sloop rig with slab reefing mainsail and roller furling jib. Twin Cylinder 4hp Evinrude "Sailmaster" longshaft outboard engine. A large cockpit for her size, and below decks four berths upholstered in blue vinyl with and additional pair of cockpit cushions in similar material. Chemical toilet, outboard bracket, anchor, chain+warp, a few lines and fenders are included . Needs a bit of TLC before next season but clean and tidy offering good value. Ashore in our yard.

"Golden Ray",  a 50ft Houseboat conversion from motor yacht/fisherman. A total of six berths, kitchen, bathroom, living room and lots of sun-deck. Carvel built c.1950. Engine removed for extra accommodation, some tidying and finishing required, but a substantial wooden craft that would provide a very cheap home for a DIY enthusiast!  Currently moored in Woodbridge Dock (mooring not included in sale, to be arranged separately). In recent years has been used as family weekend home, but now no longer required and open to realistic cash offers
